Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information.
1. Who we are
The Lymington Skin Clinic (“we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal information we collect about you. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.
2. Information we collect
We may collect: your name and contact details (email, phone); appointment and enquiry details; information you share about your skin, health and treatment goals so we can advise you safely; any photos you provide (for example through our AI skin scan); and basic technical information about how you use our website.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange and manage appointments, provide treatments and aftercare, keep the records we are required to keep, and — where you have agreed — to send you relevant updates and offers.
4. Legal basis
We process your information to take steps at your request and to provide our services, to meet our legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in running the clinic, and — for health information and marketing — on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us operate (for example appointment, payment and messaging tools), and where we are required to by law.
6. Skin-scan photos & AI analysis
If you use our AI skin scan, the photo you provide is processed to generate your skin analysis. It is used to give you your results and to help us tailor our recommendations, and is handled in line with this policy.
7. Cookies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to make it work and to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Keeping your information
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet our legal and professional obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us by email at bookings@thelymingtonskinclinic.co.uk, or by phone on +44 7702 115141.
10. Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
11. Changes & complaints
We may update this policy from time to time. If you have any questions, or wish to make a complaint, please contact us by email at bookings@thelymingtonskinclinic.co.uk, or by phone on +44 7702 115141. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
